Electronic Shelf Label System

ESL represents Electronic Shelf Label, which is an electronic label that can be installed on the shelf. It is a label with an E-Paper display for item display, instead of the traditional paper display. The information on the screen is transmitted from the server, the screen display items such as product’s name, price, logo, bar code, production area, etc. The ESL system can be managed and maintained easily by an operator in a specific area of the market. You may manage the product information on the ESL via the terminal control system on a computer, the ESL will update in real time as the update start.

Working principle
1. The systems consist of Tag, Wifi Device, server and the controller terminal.
2. The data is controlled at the terminal, through the server and the internet, the information can be shown on the Tag. When equipped with some suitable sensor, the tag can send back the useful data back to the server.

Construction of the Tag:
It consists of LCD, Wifi module, Designated ID, Battery and the Plastic Case.

This product has several versions:
The tag consists of Digit LCD and shows some digits.
The tag consists of Dot Matrix LCD, and can show with text.
The Tag consists of some sensor, like PIR sensor.

Usage :

Price Tag
The tag can be used inside the supermarket and the shops. When the price of the items changed, the operator is easy to change the data at the office terminal by just some second’s work, instead of print the label, arrange the worker go to the tab, replace it. It can save a lot of cost.

With different sensor installed on the tag, the tag can collect the data from the site. For example, we can know how many clients passing the concerned items and how many of these items shown. Then, the shop management can know the popularity of the item.

Tag for inventory
It can used with the ERP system, it can shown on real time how the inventory status inside the warehouse, instead of using paper recording. By the way, it can reduce a lot of error and reduce the management time.

Tag for patient/elderly in the center
The information of the patient stage can be input by the terminal and the data can be shown on the tag.
For example, it can shown the status of the patient, what is prohibited. when he took the pills, doctor’s advice and etc……
